For Students & Teachers

Today's younger generations are tomorrow's cooperative leaders. That's why we reach out to high school students through the National Rural Electric Youth Tour. Learn more here, and  apply here by February 28.

We also offer scholarships to high school seniors, to adults seeking to continue their education, and to potential utility technicians who plan to attend an accredited utility technician or equivalent course such as the one offered by Alpena Community College. Applications and more information are available here. Applications must be received by HomeWorks Tri-County on or before March 15, 2017.

We also offer Touchstone Energy Classroom Technology Grants, helping teachers and students in our service area. The 2017 grants will be announced here after February 15, once we have notified this year's recipients.

Applications are HERE for the Tri-County Electric People Fund grants (a separate program that assists individuals or organizations in need).
